Second post - And disclaimer
I'm so creative with the names, aren't I? Well, anyway. I've added more to this blog. You can see my old MSN hosted spot over in my links section - it has more to it than this one so far.
I'm actually fairly new to this whole idea of blogging. Some people have such interesting things to say, but for me, I've never found it to be more than just an account that I actually did live. That I'm here, and I have a voice - and some may consider it worth hearing.
Or reading, or whatever. Anywho, I want to add a bit of a disclaimer, here. What I'm going to say on this blog will likely be controversial to some, and downright heretical to others. I'm going to lay where I stand right out on the table. I am an anti-capitalist anarcho-syndicalist, as well as a recovering American trying to make a life for myself in Canada. I believe in basic human dignity for everyone, parecon, and that rich people deserve to be lined up against a wall and shot [contradicting myself already, I know, but rich people are no longer people. I'll explain later].
My life thus far, on a scale of 1 to 10 has been about a 7 on the excitement scale - that is, I'm 24 years old and I've already experienced love like you wouldn't believe, as well as death and I've even survived moving to another country with little more than the clothes on my back and a complete paradigm shift - all before I turned 24. I've made some good friends and gained some new family along the way - but I've also lost something that was dear to me and gained the most unlikely relationship ever.
What do I think this all means? ...I don't know, really. It doesn't make me any more of an expert on life or love or anything more than any other person. I'm just here, offering my point of view and my life up to anyone who wants to read it. Unselfishly, I might add.
So, with that in mind, just...treat me with care. I want comments, I want to know how people think about what I say, and what goes on here, but at the same time, negativity is not encouraged. If you don't like what I have to say here, you are free to do so, or not do so and ignore me - but if you choose the former, just be respectful. That's all I ask.
Thanks, everyone.
